“My decision to invest in a Monosem Twin Row Planter was motivated by the extreme drought of the last several years and the declining production of the underground water wells here in Western Kansas. In other parts of the country where rainfall is adequate and populations can be increased, the Monosem Twin Row has proven to raise the bar in the highest yielding fields. I however simply wished to maintain a good past yield average in spite of the drought and make better use of an acre by taking advantage of the much quicker canopy, reduced weed pressure, and improved plant health of the twin rows. My expectations have been met and I am comfortable with the decision to switch.
The accuracy and near perfect stagger of this planter is certainly superior to any other brand I have been around.”

“I have been strip till / twin 30 inch row planting for over several years. 2014 was my first year for my Monosem 16 twin row stacker planter.
I am very impressed with the engineering of my Monosem from hitch to closing wheels. Ease of setting population and twin row stagger is very simple and precise. Sub inch singulation and stagger is key to optimum seed to soil contact for 10-15% higher yields. Water and nutrient efficiency is also
agronomically sound! Canopy closes quicker for less evaporation and weed control.”
No need to change corn heads as my 8 row 30 works just fine.”

“I am currently on my second Monosem Twin Row Planter. I found going to twin row gave me a significant yield bump. Twin row allowed me to keep the rest of my equipment on 36” while taking the advantage of narrower rows. The spacing with the planter is phenomenal. Mechanically Monosem Planters are very easy to run. The wear parts on the planter seem to last forever.”

“Monosem makes the best planter in the world. Period. When you can put a guy like me in it, who’s not exactly detail oriented, and get a picket fence stand every time, that’s a strong testament to the performance of the product.
The row units are heavy, and made to withstand hard no-till planting conditions. I really like how the Monoshox system behaves in varying soil conditions; it’s never overly aggressive while maintaining the down pressure needed, all the while mitigating unit bounce.
We started with twin rows over five years ago and have been very happy with how they have treated us. We’ve seen a marked increase in stalk diameter in every field environment imaginable. Stalk diameter does not always equate to yield, but having a healthier, happier plant is a good foundation to build strong yields on. The increased canopy from the twin rows have helped in our arid environment for water efficiency. With a denser canopy, you don’t necessarily pump less water, but the water that you do apply gets used by the plant instead of evaporated uselessly.”
